We’re in an exceptionally unique position here at Athera. A position that enables us to redefine how we progress the healthcare industry.  

Whilst we’re a growing, next generation healthtech company filled with new, bold ideas and a vigour for change, our portfolio also comprises of well-established, long-standing brands.  

We’re also in the process of acquiring even more of those reputable, well-established brands, meaning we plan to expand, grow, and progress even more.  

Having that blend of fresh, bold ideas, with time-tested expertise and the opportunity to grow (and grow and grow!) is a powerful thing, and we’re determined to make the most of it.  

That’s why we’re launching User Groups. We want you to inspire our product design. 

But let’s be clear: this isn’t about adding X and X feature. It’s a lot bigger than that. This is about you marching us toward the future you envision for your team, department, and hospital. This is about us working together to progress.  

Policy after strategy, guideline after update. We’re taking action into our (and your) own hands.  

User Groups Explained 

Soon, we’ll be sending invites out to everyone involved in surgical and procedural traceability, whether they’re C-suite, ground-level, or anyone in-between, to take part in these sessions. Healthcare needs a space to collaborate. Not just conferences. Not just talks. But a provider with the capability to deliver on your vision.  

Our entire ethos is around togetherness, and our User Groups will reflect exactly that. Ran by one of our senior team, we’ll be asking the right questions and exploring the interconnectedness of all of your challenges.  

The Next Generation of Healthtech 

But what’s the purpose of all of this?  

Well, we’re going to build the next generation of health technology. We’ve got a tried and tested (and successful) traceability product. But we know that more can be achieved. These User Groups serve as the start to that journey.  

Our collective responsibility is to realise a robust medical track-and-trace system with the built-in foresight and flexibility to be readily prepared for every challenge. 

The market is flooded with First-Generation inventory management software and services that profess to handle current demands and necessities, but they’re not effective long-term. 

And then there’s the Second Generation: Solutions that take existing legacy systems, requiring full redevelopment and regular updates to remain strategically viable.  

Both models are playing catch-up, neither truly anticipating or preparing for the needs of the future. 

We recognise that today, Athera stands at the forefront of the Second Generation.  

But we refuse to stay there.  

The future calls for something more – and answering that call requires a journey, not simply a quick-fix solution. 

So, we invite you to join the Third Generation, to stand as partners in shaping the future of healthcare. This is about more than participation; it’s about leadership. Not just a delegate, not just a voice, but a true architect for the next generation.
