Athera FingerPrint
End-to-end support throughout the decontamination cycle
The Dublin Dental University Hospital have been utilising FingerPrint since 2019 to support their track and trace processes throughout the equipment lifecycle. Before using FingerPrint, staff had noticed several errors coming through the cycle, meaning they had been losing money by sending equipment back to be cleaned.
Employing our user-friendly system, they now have greater oversight and visibility of their inventory – with automated alerts for instruments due to expire, to ensure good stock levels.
With Athera FingerPrint, the University Hospital were able to:
- Set up custom KPIs to track throughout the process, including the number of cycles and equipment failures
- Employ reporting tools to track processes over a 12-month period
- Identify areas for improvement such as opportunities for staff training
- Implement quality improvement plans and monitor change over next the 12 months
“I’ve used many traceability systems in the past and FingerPrint Medical’s is by far the most user-friendly system – it’s so simple and easy to update, scan barcodes and see what’s going on across the full cycle.”
